Purpoz's FAQ - Frequently asked Questions.

Q:  When and where were you born?A: I was born on December 9th.  I am a Sagittarius, for those who are into zodiac signs. I grew up in Decatur, Georgia what
some people from that area used to call “The Dec.”

Q: When did you start writing?A: I first started writing short stories when I was 10 years old. At age seventeen, I started writing poetry and novels. And then age 24, I started writing spiritual and self help books. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q: What types of books do you write?A: I write spiritual books, romances, mysteries, urban fiction, fantasy, paranormal, and young adult fiction. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q: Where do you get your ideas for your novels?A: My ideas for my novels come from my dreams; that is why I keep a dream journal handy!:-)
Q: Who are your favorite authors? A: My favorite spiritual authors are: Iyanla Vanzant, Sonia Choquette, Marianne Williamson, Louis Hay. My favorite classic spiritual writer of all time is Florence Seovel Shinn of “The Game of Life and How to Play it.” My favorite novelists are Terry McMillian (my inspiration), Sherrilyn Kenyon (my inspiration), Bille Letts, Joan Wilder, Angela Benson, John Grisham, and Walter Mosley.
Q: How long does it take you to write a book? A: .It takes me about 3-6 months to finish both my spiritual books and novels depending on my schedule. 
Q: Do you have a pen name?
A: My previous pen name was Kimberly S. Phillips.  I  will be phasing off of Kimberly Ware name due to divorce.   And my new titles will be under my new pen names, Kimberly Purpoz and Purpoz.   Purpoz is a play on the word Purpose.  The letter 'Z' in Purpoz represents 'zeal'  which means "Power in your Purpose".  I chose this name and created its meaning with zeal (power) because I am now committed to following my true passion in life which is to write.  ------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q: What advise would you give to aspiring writers? A: I would tell aspiring writers to hold on to your dreams and to never give up.
Q: What do you do during your spare time?
A: I love to watch movies, go for walks, to work in my garden, and paint.  I like to read a lot and study about  counseling, healing, theology, wellness, and spirituality.
Q: Tell us more about your current and  future book projects. A:  "The Age of Innocence", is the first book to The Nia Trilogy  and "Wanting Destiny" is the first book to the Punani Secrets series; both books are available on Amazon.com.
