Estimated Southeast Woodland Indians Population Chart (1600-1761)
This week I did a video lecture on Part #4 of the Southeast woodland Indians (Cherokee, Creek, Choctaw, etc.) series on Youtube. I wanted to share with you an early population chart of the indigenous American Aborigines (Southeast Woodland Indians) during the early 1600s to the late 1700s. Keep in mind these are rough estimates and are not exact, and this was also during the times when negro Indians were being kidnaped or captured and forced into slavery. This chart is from the American Indian Almanac. Check out the Kimberly Purpoz Channel.
